Tigerlily Foundation is the premier national breast cancer foundation providing education, awareness, advocacy and hands-on support to young women (15-40) – before, during and after breast cancer.

Education – Tigerlily Foundation is a nationwide breast cancer foundation providing education to young women.  Our goal is to provide them with important breast health information that could someday save their lives or the life of their peers.  We know that when learning is done early, it can become an integral part of one’s life, and that is our goal.  We teach young women at an early age about their breast health, their bodies and ways to be their own best advocate, so that they understand their bodies, know when their breasts change and know when to get help.   Education and early detection can save lives. 

Awareness – Many younger women are not aware that younger women can get breast cancer, or that younger women tend to have more aggressive breast cancers and higher mortality rates.  By creating a global awareness of this issue, we are giving younger women the tools they need to take action.    

Advocacy – Although there is global awareness of breast cancer, people are not always aware that younger women get breast cancer.  There is a need for change in terms of ensuring better representation for younger women’s issues in the community.  We work to advocate for that change.

Services and Support – While it is important to provide awareness, it is as equally important to provide practical support to young women in their most critical time of need.  Younger women are often not prepared to deal with such a life-altering disease, particularly when they are just starting to live.  They are not prepared for the emotional, financial and day-to-day living challenges that breast cancer can bring.  That’s why at Tigerlily Foundation, we work to make an impact every day, providing buddies, buddy bags, financial assistance, meals, pampering services, empowerment and more.  We work to transform young women’s lives through the experience of breast cancer.  When you get breast cancer, we won’t just send you a brochure, we do something about it.
